Before you start
You will need:
- Your Illinois Lottery Retailer ID, if registering an independent retailer account
- Your 2, 3, 4, or 5 digit numeric Chain ID, if registering a chain account
- Your State Tax ID
- Your Federal Tax ID
- A working email address for the account verification email
- The user ID and password if the account already exists
- Access to your email inbox for verification and password recovery

Illinois separates chain, independent retailer, and subordinate-account flows. Chain registration uses Chain ID, State Tax ID, and Federal Tax ID. Independent retailer registration uses Retailer ID, State Tax ID, and Federal Tax ID. Subordinate accounts are commonly used for managers of chain retail locations. If the chain, independent, or subordinate-account path is unclear, call the Illinois Lottery Retailer Help Desk at 1-844-806-8930 before entering tax ID values into the wrong flow.
For existing Illinois Lottery retailers
- Go to the Illinois Lottery Retailer Web Portal login page.
- Click Register if you do not have an account.
- For an independent retailer account, have your Retailer ID, State Tax ID, and Federal Tax ID ready.
- Fill out the registration information.
- Press Create.
- Watch for the verification email sent to the email address entered in the registration form.
- Open the email and follow the instructions to verify the account.
After verification, log in with the user ID and password for the account. Use Settings to change the password, update the email address, or update security questions and answers.
For Illinois chain accounts and subordinate users
For a chain account, the quick reference guide says to have the 2, 3, 4, or 5 digit numeric Chain ID, State Tax ID, and Federal Tax ID ready, then register through the same portal login page. After the chain account is active, subordinate accounts can be created for managers who need access to selected store information.
To create a subordinate account, use Create Account, select the Retailer ID to assign, create a user name, set the account to Active, enter and verify the subordinate email address, and press Create. The subordinate user then follows the email instructions to activate the account.
Logging in
- Go to il.reptweb.com/ILPortal/account/login.aspx.
- Enter your user ID.
- Enter your password.
- Press Login.
- Use Settings after login if you need to change your password, email address, or security questions.
Forgot password
Use the Need Help? link at the bottom of the login window if you lose your username or password. If you need more help, call the Illinois Lottery Help Desk at 1-844-806-8930.
Where to find reports
The Illinois quick reference guide says reports are available in three major categories: invoices, instant inventory, and sales. Reports can be viewed and downloaded, and the guide says all reports can be downloaded in PDF, Excel, Word, or CSV format.
