Minnesota Lottery Retailer Help
How to Access the Minnesota Lottery Retailer Services Portal
Minnesota Lottery retailers use the Retailer Services Portal, or RSP, as a web-based application for licensed retailers. The public RSP FAQ says primary users can manage account information, access reports, use documents and forms, and add or maintain secondary users.
For a convenience store or gas station, Minnesota RSP access helps the owner or primary user download reports, update profile information, manage secondary users, access Lottery documents, and troubleshoot common issues before calling support.

Before you start
You will need:
- Your Minnesota Lottery retailer number
- Retailer identification that matches Minnesota Lottery records
- A primary user email address that the store can continue to access
- Access to the activation email after registration
- Security information including password and password hint question/answer
- State Tax ID if management changed and the account contact must be verified
- If activation email, retailer number validation, reset, or unlock help is needed, call Minnesota Lottery retailer assistance at 651-635-8172 or RSP support at 651-635-8273 / 888-568-8379 option 2.
Minnesota's public RSP FAQ describes a multi-step registration process: accept terms, enter a security code, verify the retailer number, validate retailer identification with Lottery records, and enter security information. Retailer Town Hall guidance stresses that the activation email is required after submitting retailer information. If the activation email is missing, the account is locked, or retailer validation fails, call Minnesota Lottery RSP support at 651-635-8273 or 888-568-8379 option 2.
For existing Minnesota Lottery retailers
- Go to the Minnesota Retailer Services Portal.
- Complete the registration steps if your retailer account has not been created.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- Enter the security code.
- Verify that the retailer number is valid and active.
- Enter retailer identification that matches Minnesota Lottery records.
- Enter security information, including password, password hint question and answer, and security graphic image.
- Find the activation email and activate the account before trying to sign in.
Minnesota recommends using a universal business email and username when creating the RSP account so future managers can maintain access more easily after staffing changes.
For new Minnesota Lottery retailers
If your store is not yet licensed, start with Minnesota Lottery's Become a Retailer page. The public page points applicants to application and contract forms, fingerprinting instructions, and retailer assistance contacts.
After the retailer account is licensed and active, use the Retailer Services Portal registration process and watch for the activation email. If management changes later and you do not have the username or account information, have the State Tax ID available for verification when contacting support.
Logging in
- Go to mn-lsp.lotteryservices.com.
- Use the username and password created during RSP registration.
- If you recently registered, activate the account from the activation email first.
- Check junk or spam if the activation email is missing.
- After login, use Manage Account, Access Reports, Lottery Documents and Forms, and Add/Maintain Secondary Users.
Forgot password
Use Forgot Password on the initial login screen and follow the steps. If your company has an administrator who created your RSP account, that person can also reset your password. If you are locked out or cannot find the activation email, contact Minnesota Lottery Customer Support.
Where to find reports
Minnesota's RSP FAQ says users can access reports and view or download them. The portal also provides Lottery documents and forms, newsletters, new game details, promotions, marketing materials, game end date notifications, training materials, and videos.

Using Minnesota RSP reports with LottoReco
LottoReco helps convenience stores and gas stations use lottery portal reports, POS data, and scratcher inventory counts to reconcile daily lottery activity.
Once Minnesota RSP access is active, LottoReco can help identify which reports are useful for tracking scratcher sales, payouts, inventory movement, invoices, activations, returns, and daily lottery totals.
LottoReco is not affiliated with the Minnesota Lottery or the Retailer Services Portal. Retailers should confirm official account access and portal instructions directly with Minnesota Lottery or authorized RSP support.
