Before you start
You will need:
- Your 6-digit Montana Lottery Retailer Number
- The last 4 digits of your Federal ID
- A username for the portal account
- A password that meets the portal password rules
- An email address and confirmation email address
- Three security questions and answers
- Access to the terminal if you need to find the retailer number
- If you cannot find the 6-digit Retailer Number or need sales-agent portal help, call Montana Lottery current sales agent support at 800-425-1435.
Montana's public registration page asks for the 6-digit Retailer Number and the last 4 digits of the Federal ID. If you are not near the terminal and cannot locate the retailer number, Montana directs sales agents to call 1-800-425-1435. - Enter your 6-digit Retailer Number.

- Create and verify a password.
- Enter and confirm your email address.
- Choose three security questions and enter answers.
- Complete the security-code image field and submit the registration.
After registration, log in through the Sales Agent Portal to access agent-specific information and accounting reports. Keep the security-question answers available for future access recovery.
For new Montana Lottery sales agents
If your business is not yet a Montana Lottery sales agent, start with Montana Lottery sales agent resources and contact the Lottery office.
