How to Use the Pennsylvania Lottery Retailer Portal

Pennsylvania Lottery retailers use the Retailer Portal at retailer.lottery.pa.gov to review lottery business information from any internet-capable device. The portal gives retailers secure access to sales, scratch-off inventory, accounting, reports, documents, user management, and Retailer Incentive Program information.

Before you start

You will need:

  • Your Pennsylvania Lottery retailer number
  • Your initial retailer username, based on when your account was activated
  • Access to the email address tied to your retailer portal username
  • Your location or chain Super User contact, if your password is locked
  • Any instructions from your District Sales Representative or corporate account manager
  • If the initial username, activation status, or account lockout is unclear, call Pennsylvania Lottery portal support at 1-800-692-7481, option 1, option 9, or contact your District Sales Representative.

The Pennsylvania guide says retailers active before March 19, 2024 use the first 5 digits of the retailer number as the initial username. Retailers activated after March 19, 2024 use the letter R plus the retailer number. The initial password is P@ssword1234, and users must create a unique password after first login. If your username pattern does not work or the account is locked, call 1-800-692-7481, option 1, option 9, or contact your District Sales Representative before creating another account.

For existing Pennsylvania Lottery retailers

  1. Go to the Pennsylvania Lottery Retailer Portal at retailer.lottery.pa.gov.
  2. Enter your initial username. Retailers active before March 19, 2024 use the first 5 digits of the retailer number; retailers activated after March 19, 2024 use R plus the retailer number.
  3. Enter the initial password, P@ssword1234, if this is your first login or your Super User reset your password.
  4. Create a new unique password when prompted.
  5. Use the dashboard, Sales, Scratch-Offs, Accounting, Docs & Forms, Reports, and Admin menus based on your user role.
  6. Update your password every 60 days when the portal prompts you.

Independent retailer Super Users can see data for their location, add Super User or Clerk users, and reset passwords or unlock usernames. Clerk users can see data for their location but cannot create new users.

For corporate and chain accounts

Corporate Super Users can see data for the full chain, create new users, reset passwords, and reactivate locked users. Headquarters users can see data for the full chain but cannot create users or reset passwords. Manager users can see data for selected locations assigned by the Super User.

For chain reporting, Scheduled Reports can be run for all locations or for individual locations. If reports need to be sent by SFTP, the guide says retailers must first submit an SFTP Server Transfer Request.

Logging in

  1. Go to retailer.lottery.pa.gov.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. If this is your first login, or your password was reset, use P@ssword1234 as the current password and create a unique password.
  4. If your account is locked after unsuccessful attempts, contact your location or chain Super User.
  5. If the Super User cannot help, contact the Pennsylvania Lottery at 1-800-692-7481, option 1, option 9.

Forgot password

Click Forgot Password on the login page to receive a password reset email. The guide says reset emails are sent from RA-RVLOTGEMRETAILER@pauat.lotteryplus.com, so check spam or junk mail if the email does not arrive. Your account locks after five unsuccessful password attempts.

Where to find reports

Use the Reports dropdown to run on-demand reports, set up scheduled reports, or view completed scheduled report archives. Scheduled reports can be delivered daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Available export formats include PDF, Word, CSV, XML, HTM, and some on-demand report formats such as Crystal Reports, Excel data-only, and RTF.
