How to Set Up Texas Lottery Retailer Wizard Account Access
Texas Lottery retailers use Retailer Wizard at txs.lotteryservices.com to access location-specific lottery business information. Texas Lottery materials say Retailer Wizard replaced the Lottery Services Portal and provides access to licensing, owner/location/banking information, sales reports, EFT sweep amounts, prizes paid, scratch ticket inventory, and more.
For a convenience store or gas station, Texas Retailer Wizard access helps the owner or manager review sales, prizes paid, bank sweep amounts, scratch ticket inventory, settlements, and retailer account information in one official portal.

Before you start
You will need:
- Your six-digit Texas Lottery ID, if you are a current license holder
- The owner, officer, partner, or director who will establish the user profile
- An email address to use as the username
- A password for the Retailer Wizard account
- Access to your email inbox for verification instructions
- Any guidance from your Lottery Sales Representative, IGT district office, or Retailer Services
- If you do not know your six-digit Lottery ID, authorized profile owner, or Retailer Wizard setup status, call Texas Lottery Retailer Services at 800-375-6886; for terminal issues, call the Brightstar Hotline at 800-458-0884.
Texas materials say current license holders may enroll using their six-digit Lottery ID and establish an email address as the username and password. The user establishing the profile must be an owner, officer, partner, or director. Primary users can add additional users and assign privileges. If the six-digit Lottery ID or authorized profile owner is unclear, call Texas Lottery Retailer Services at 800-375-6886 before registering; call Brightstar at 800-458-0884 for terminal issues.
For existing Texas Lottery retailers
- Go to txs.lotteryservices.com or use the Retailer Wizard link on the Texas Lottery Retailers page.
- From the Retailer Wizard home page, click Sign Up.
- Enter the required registration information, including your Lottery ID if you are a current license holder.
- Create a password.
- Agree to the Terms of Use.
- Submit the registration.
- Open the verification email and follow the instructions to verify the account.
After the primary user profile is active, use Manage Users to add secondary users and assign privileges. Texas materials say there can be more than one Primary User for each Retailer ID.
For prospective Texas Lottery retailers
Texas materials say prospective retailers can register with Retailer Wizard and submit a license application online. Owners who do not have a Texas Lottery ID may receive a temporary ID and complete a license application through online licensing services.
To apply for a new license from Retailer Wizard, choose Licensing Services, click New License Application, complete the required information, review the submission, complete payment, and download the confirmation PDF for your records.
Logging in
- Go to txs.lotteryservices.com.
- Enter the email address used for the Retailer Wizard account.
- Enter your password.
- Complete any required security question or verification step.
- Use the dashboard, Reports, Licensing Services, Training, or Manage Users based on your role.
Forgot password
Use the password recovery option only on the official Retailer Wizard login page. If login or account setup problems are not covered in the FAQ section, contact Texas Lottery Retailer Services at 800-375-6886 or RetailerWebHelp@lottery.state.tx.us.
Where to find reports
Texas Retailer Wizard includes Reports on the main menu. The Texas guide says many reports are automatically posted by week-end date, and users can subscribe to reports through My Subscriptions. Almost all reports are available in CSV format; the Full Statement report is available in PDF, and the Statement Summary report is available in CSV and PDF.
