Once the account is active, you can check reports by date, download report files, review scratch dashboard activity, and manage users from one official portal.

Before you start
You will need:
- Your Virginia Lottery Retailer Account or Retailer ID as provided by Virginia Lottery
- An email address you will use to log in
- Your business phone or mobile phone number
- Access to your email inbox for verification and account activation
- If you do not have your Retailer ID or your account setup is unclear, contact Virginia Lottery before creating duplicate accounts.
Independent retailers can use Sign Up on the Retailer Wizard login panel. For chain accounts, the Primary Chain User setup is handled directly by Virginia Lottery, which creates the account and sends an activation email. After activation, the Primary User can create Secondary Users through Manage Users.
For independent Virginia Lottery retailers
- Go to the Virginia Retailer Wizard portal at retailer.valottery.com/RetailerWizard/.
- Click Sign Up on the login panel.
- Enter your Retailer ID and click Submit.
- Complete the registration form after verification.
- Accept Terms of Use and complete CAPTCHA.
- Submit the form.
- Check your email for a verification link.
- Click the verification link to activate your account.
- After activation, log in using your email and password.
Do not create duplicate accounts if the Retailer ID is not recognized or the activation email does not arrive. Contact Virginia Lottery for account setup help before trying a second registration.
For Virginia Lottery chain accounts
If you are the Primary Chain User, account setup is handled directly by Virginia Lottery. You do not use the Sign Up option. Virginia Lottery creates your account and sends an activation email.
Use the email link to activate your account. After activation, Secondary Users can be created by the Primary User through the Manage Users section inside Retailer Wizard.
Logging in
- Go to the Virginia Retailer Wizard portal at retailer.valottery.com/RetailerWizard/.
- Enter your registered email address and password.
- Click Log In.
- Complete any required verification if prompted.
Forgot password
Click Forgot Password on the Retailer Wizard login page. Enter your email address and submit the request. The portal will ask the security question created during sign up. After you answer correctly, a temporary password will be emailed to you. Log in with the temporary password, then reset your password.
Where to find reports
After logging in, open Reports from the main menu. Reports are organized by date and can be searched by report name, date range, and category. Reports can be downloaded in PDF, CSV, Excel, and XML for Invoice Details if available.
